Our adoption days have been some of the best days of our lives. They have been the final end to one chapter and the beginning of a new one. Our family has been blessed to have the same judge for all four adoptions and each time it feels more and more like a family reunion. The adoption of the twins and of our youngest were well attended because we had more of a heads up, where as our Charlotte we literally had less than a day's notice! For the twins and Charlotte's adoption we were able to have a friend who has a knack for photography (and is a fellow adoptive mama) take pics. For our final adoption we had another friend who is a professional photograph. These photos capture so many details I don't ever want to forget .
Our friend, Aura Moore, who photographed our little guy's adoption has graciously decided to give back and support adoptive families:
Adoption is very near to my heart. The families that are able to do it are heroes. The sacrifices and lengths in which these families are willing to be stretched in order to make a child one of their own is incredible. If you are in Washington, Penobscot or Hancock counties of Maine, and have an upcoming adoption you would like to have photographed it would be an honor for me to offer this service free of charge, including all digital files, a 20% discount applied on prints and albums. A travel fee of $50 applies for adoptions in Penobscot and Hancock counties.
